excellence have been recognized by partners and society. Take a
look at some of the awards and certifications we have won in the
last years.
Top Of Mind A Tribuna Award
In June 2009, newspaper A Tribuna granted the company the
Top Of Mind award in the "carrier" category.
DOWGOL Award
Award winner for three consecutive
years (2006, 2007, and 2008). DOW Brasil, a company's logistics
client, grants the DOWGOL award in recognition of improvements in
health, safety and environmental programs.
VIII Prêmio ABML de Logística
In 2007, the company won the "VII Prêmio ABML de Logística"
(7th ABML logistics award) in the "Logistics
Outsourcing" category, which is granted by Associação Brasileira de
Movimentação e Logística, in recognition of services provided to
Colgate Palmolive.
VII Prêmio ABML de Logística
In 2006, Associação Brasileira de Movimentação de
Logística (ABML) recognized the company in the "Logistics
Outsourcing" category for services provided to DOW Brasil.
Prêmio Terceirização em Logística
In 2004, the project developed for graphic arts company
Agfa received the award in the "Logistics Outsourcing" category
from Associação Brasileira de Movimentação e Logística (ABML).
Prêmio Basf de Excelência
In 2004, Mesquita won the 1st BASF excellence
award for logistics partners for safety in cargo throughput in
customs spaces.
Excellence Award
In 2001, the company was granted the Excellence Award, by
client Eastman Chemical, in recognition of the high performance of
the integrated logistics services. It was the first time a
Brazilian company won this award.
Improvement Award
In 2000, the company received the Improvement Award from
client Eastman Chemical for its efficiency in providing logistics
services.
ISO 9001:2008
The ISO 9001 certification sets out a series of guidelines for
improving a company's quality management. Developed by the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO), those
standards help in developing internal processes, provide better
employee training, work environment monitoring, and check the
customers, employees, and suppliers' satisfaction.
Santos Brasil was submitted to staff training, activity
monitoring, and internal audit processes to ensure that the
certification was granted. The Company follows the ISO determined
standards since August 2005 for the port operations, uniting,
disuniting, and storage activities for cargo in containers,
vehicles, and bulk cargo.
