The Company
One of the major port infrastructure and logistics service
providers in South America, Santos Brasil is responsible for the
throughput of approximately 25% of the containers in Brazil. The
company operates Santos Tecon, the largest container terminal of
South America, the container terminals in Imbituba (SC) and Vila do
Conde (PA), as well as the vehicle terminal in Port of Santos.

of São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa), Santos Brasil has invested

Santos Brasil, a leading South American container handling
company, recorded a milestone for the Brazilian port sector,
handling more than 100,000 containers in less than a month at is
operation at the Port of Santos. As a result, the total
volume for the month of August will be the highest registered among
container terminals in Brazil. The total figure represents a 20%
increase over August 2011 of the total handled by Tecon Santos.
