Trainee Program
Reaffirming its commitment to human development, Santos Brasil also offers vacancies to young people experiencing socio-economic disadvantage. Together, the Iochpe Foundation and Santos Brasil formed the Formare Apprentice Programme to teach and hire young people through a 15-month-duration course.
Since 2009, our collaboration project has garnered more than 291 young people. These people learned about the ins and outs of the port and logistics market. Soon we will disclose information about the selection processes.
Our Young Apprentice courses promote the development of young learners. Here students receive in-person training and hands-on experience. This is followed by quarterly performance evaluations, monitored by our sustainability area. At the end of the Programme, the apprentice becomes part of our talent bank.
