Santos Brasil - a provider of comprehensive port and logistics services - has just created its Human Rights Policy, which establishes basic guidelines for respecting, promoting and preserving essential rights in relationships with its customers, employees, suppliers and third parties. It is built on the company¿s vision, mission and values, and is aligned with the principles set forth in the United Nations Global Compact, which Santos Brasil has been a signatory of since 2013. Policy guidelines punish any active or passive involvement or association in situations that characterize child labor, forced or compulsory labor, discrimination, violence in all its forms, moral or sexual harassment, sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, and other social issues. All company employees will receive training in the course of this year.
