Marlos Tavares is the new Director of Operations at Santos Brazil

Marlos Tavares is the new Director of Operations at Santos Brazil. He was born in Rio Grande (Rio Grande do Sul State), and has more than 15 years¿ experience in the navigation market. As of today, the executive takes over the newly-created position in the company with the challenge of continuing the operational improvements that have been implemented at the Tecon Santos, Tecon Imbituba (SC), Tecon Vila do Conde (PA), Vehicle Terminal (TEV) and Logistics units.

Tavares is graduated in Administration and Accounting, and has Green Belt training in continuous process improvement. He joins the Santos Brasil team reporting directly to President Antonio Carlos Sepúlveda. Tavares previously worked at Grupo AP Maersk, Grupo Lachmann, and more recently at Grupo Libra.
